I don't have one. I'd like one. Suggestions? (oh, and I prefer free ones...since I'm poor/cheap. haha)
Are you taking a vacation this summer (or this season)? Where are you headed and who's going with you?
Well, I wasn't planning on it, until the other day. My brother lives in northern Utah (and I'm in east Texas for those of you know in the know [does anyone even read this page anymore? because I sure as heck don't update it often. haha]) Anyway, my mom really wants to go up to see him (and the rest of the family there too) so if things work out right, the kids and I will go with her. 24+ hours in a car with 2 fighting kids. Now THAT'S a vacation! haha Otherwise, no I won't be going on vacation at any point in the near or far future because we are so broke it'll make you want to cry. haha
If money were no object, which five luxury items would you rush right out and buy?

Only five? haha I've been thinking about this question most of my life.
- A new car (or 5). Like something really great and expensive and customized. I'm tired of driving a POS.
- A new house. In a city, or at least near a city. I know I just got a new house, but I'm talking about a freakin' mansion or something. Where I would actually have somewhere to be alone and maybe hide. hehe
- A maid. And a cook. Or one person that does both. I just don't like cooking and cleaning, and it doesn't have to be perfectly clean or gourmet food, but it would be nice to have someone to do it all for me.
- Electronics. Computers, TVs, phones, mp3 players, gaming systems. Pretty much everything at Best Buy or Circuit City.
- ATVs. 4-wheelers, those Mule thingies, all kinds of toys like that.
I could go on and on. My list is neverending. I want EVERYTHING.
Show us your prom picture.

This was my junior year. I can't find (okay, I'm too lazy to look) any pictures from my senior year, where I was the queen of the prom. Oh yeah, and I had the fully sequened dress to go with the tiara. haha I'll have to hunt down a picture (after I move) (maybe...haha).
What's your best tax tip?
I guess the best tip would be DO THEM. We always get a refund (thanks to our kids, and being poor, too I guess), and even though it would suck, I'd still do them even if I owed taxes. (Here's hoping that never happens!)

Rarely a day goes by that I don't wear my flipflops. (Except mine are blue-green where these are gray.)
In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
I'm too lazy to hunt up a picture of what's in my head, but ultimately, my dream room would be the master bath, and in it would be a huge whirlpool tub, a big, glass shower, 2 toilet areas and 2 vanity areas. I would LOVE to have a separate toilet so I could make my husband clean his own. haha
What's the story behind a time when you got locked out?
Just this past summer, during a really dry spell, fire ants decided to take up residence in my bedroom closet. So, we just decided to take all the clothes out and wash them to get rid of the ants on them (while spraying the house). So, we backed a truck up to the back door and tossed all the clothes into it to take to the laundymat (to save myself load after load and get it all done at once). Our back door has two locks on it, one at the top and one at the bottom (we rarely use this door so we have it double locked to keep the kids from opening it).
On a trip back home to unload some of the dry clothing, my daughter was inside and I was grabbing stuff out of the car. So I get to the front door and yell, "open the door for me," which in kid-speak must mean lock the door. Of course she couldn't get it unlocked and there was my baby girl, locked inside the house with my key to the door INSIDE the house with her.
I, of course, freak out because I immediately think "omg! the house is going to burn with her inside!" (I overreact, I think. haha) Anyway, I go to the back door, and luckily the bottom lock isn't locked. So, I pry the door open some and yell for her to bring the phone to me. Meanwhile, some people overheard me yelling for her and come over to see if they can help. I assured them that we were fine, I just had to get my husband on the phone to bring a key home to let me in.
So, it all ended fine, but I've made her practice unlocking the door several times since then just in case it happens again.
Ever run for office? (School, club, organization, politics, etc.) Did you get elected?
I was in the student council, and was VP my senior year, but we didn't have real elections at my school. Each grade level got together and chose 3 reps. Then the student council voted for the officers. So, only seniors could be president and VP, so there ya go. haha
- What was your favorite toy as a kid? - The only toy that sticks out in my mind is my Magical Musical Thing. I don't know when I first got it, but I had it until I was in college, when somehow it broke in half. Devastating, but I got over it. haha
- What type of music or band do you love? - Boy bands. haha I can't help it, I just love boy bands. N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, NKOTB, 98 Degrees, love them all.
- What color can't you live without? - green or black, I can't decide. Although it'd be pretty hard to live without any color. There'd always be a blank space where that color went.
- What is your favorite scent? - vanilla or butter cream
- Show us something you love.
